What is Keragon for a wellness or longevity clinic?

It is not an EHR, a lab or a pharmacy, and every clinical decision stays with your clinicians.
Does it work with Healthie, Cerbo, athenahealth or Practice Better?
Yes. Keragon connects 400+ healthcare tools, including Healthie, Cerbo, athenahealth, DrChrono, Practice Better, Charm Health, Elation, Canvas Medical and Hint, plus your lab platform, CRM, messaging and payments. What an Agent can do depends on what each system exposes. Where an EHR sends no events, as with Cerbo, an Agent can check it on a schedule you set. Can it connect our lab and supplement tools?
Yes, as follow-through. Keragon follows lab-order status and treatment plans in Fullscript, and connects to Rupa Health and Junction. When a lab order updates, an Agent can open a review task for the right clinician in your EHR and message the patient once the result is reviewed. Keragon does not order labs on its own and never interprets a result.
We're cash-pay. Do we need the insurance features?
No. Most wellness and longevity clinics start with intake, lab follow-through, refills and check-ins. If you also bill insurance, eligibility checks are available through your EHR or an eligibility service.
Can it handle memberships and payments?
Yes. Keragon connects to Hint for memberships and invoices, and to Stripe, Square and Stax for payments, so a new membership can create the patient in your EHR and a failed payment can start a follow-up in your words. It does not change your prices or your plans.
Can it pull in wearable data?
Where a patient chooses to share it, Keragon can read Oura data such as sleep, activity and heart rate and add it to the patient's chart for your team to review. It is not continuous monitoring, and nothing is interpreted.
What do I need to connect my EHR?
An account with API access in each system you connect. Some EHR, lab and membership vendors turn on API access on request or only on certain plans, so ask for it at the start of your trial. Our team can help you through the setup.
Who actually answers the phone?
A leading voice AI provider does, connected to your EHR by Keragon. You choose the platform, and Keragon conducts it: the caller reaches your real schedule, the booking is written back, and anything clinical goes to your team. End-to-end HIPAA coverage needs a BAA with your voice provider as well as with Keragon.
We already use Zapier. Why switch?
Zapier doesn't sign a BAA, so it can't carry patient data. Keragon does what Zapier does, built for healthcare: HIPAA-compliant, with a BAA on every paid plan, healthcare-native integrations and AI teammates on top.
How long does setup take, and what does it cost?

Is Keragon HIPAA-compliant, and do we get a BAA?
Yes. Keragon is HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2 Type II audited, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and a BAA is included on every paid plan. Every agent action is written to an audit log your team can review.
Does an Agent interpret lab results or approve refills?
No. Lab results are routed to the reviewing clinician, and refill requests are collected and queued for prescriber sign-off. Agents never read a value, tell a patient what a result means, or approve, deny or change a medication or dose.
What happens when a patient reports a side effect?
The Agent does not answer it. Side-effect reports, symptoms and anything it is unsure about go to the care-team queue you choose at once, with the whole message attached, and follow your escalation rules.
Will an Agent make claims about our treatments?
No. Patient messages use only the wording your clinic approved, and Agents make no claims about treatments, supplements or results. Treatment reminders and promotional messages are kept separate, so promotion follows your own consent rules.
Will patients know they are talking to AI?
That is your call, and we recommend being open about it. You write the messages and the disclosure wording the Agent uses.
Where does patient data go, and who can see it?
Data moves between the systems you connect and nowhere else. You choose which tools an agent can reach and what it can do in each one, and access is scoped per connection. Details are at keragon.com/security.
